Own Yourself : Thoughts regarding the TikTok Wars

In regard to the battle over TikTok:

I’m hearing that people aren’t aware that the reason the US et al wants to own it is that it’s really a battle over the ownership rights of “our data” — like the way TikTok, Meta (FB, IG), Google et al give away these platforms “for free” is because of GOLD of our personal data.

We are currently living in the times of the Data Rush — “land ho! there be gold in them thar minds!”

So, whoever obtains the personal data of the largest market (target or niche), has the possibility to leverage what they’ve gained about the market (the people’s minds) so that they can sell information about us to “third parties” and so that they may coerce us with “persuasion” techniques i.e. propaganda, commercials, gamification allure tactics, and see what works and what doesn’t — that’s the GOLD OF OUR MINDS!!

So, since there are so many American and European citizens on TikTok, it’s actually a liability of national and international security of the citizens of these countries because if a company, organization, nation, religious institution, etc. can own our data, they can then thus, own our minds. Manipulation is a tactic of the power wars that is not always spoken about, it can be subtle, or it can be brute.

Ownership over our mind-sense may be more subtle, as we may not recognize what’s being put into it, for an aim to tame us…

That’s why in these times it’s SO KEY, to KNOW THYSELF.

Because if you don’t, you may not know whose games you're playing, what’s being injected into you, and who is planning to “own your mindshare” (bodyshare, lifeshare, soulshare) for what reason.
